    We are currently seeking a Support Lead  to provide support on the existing data platform used to track KPIs for the Publisher business. This role will be reporting into the Head of Data Platform within

    the Data & Insights team and will be responsible to provide end user support ,monitor and make sure platform is up-to-date with latest data set and available for business reporting on time.

     

    As a member of this team you will work directly with other technical support team members , BI developers, Qlikview Developers, Data Analysts  and Data Architect who are geographically scattered.

    Accountabilities

    In this role you will be expected to:

     

    • Troubleshooting, tracking and resolving end user support requests
    • Liaising and coordinating with support team on the user requests in order to resolve/fix issues
    • Proactive monitoring of operational system processes and data feeds
    • Managing releases and deployments across all environments (Dev, Test and Live)
    • Working with the Head of Data platform, architects and developers  to define and improve the adoption of new process and ways of working
    • Ensuring support documentation and issue list is up-to-date and run the BAU scrum as required
    • Working with Data Analyst and Architect in order to fix data issues and implement  standards across platform
    • Work with DBA and other data providers in order to manage data platform is up-to-date

    • Improvements to processes and speed of delivering services to users
    • Improved decision making on Supporting the systems and data fixes

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    To succeed in the role you must have:

    • Solid technical background combined with user request management experience
    • Experience supporting warehouse systems and Big data platform and its reporting
    • SQL query writing and use of relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
    • Proven experience in documenting processes and workflows
    • Experience in dealing with business users data issues and request
    • Support Management or lead experience related to business critical live data platform
    • Full software development life cycle
    • Business Intelligence tools, Process and Dashboard reporting such as Qlikview
    • Change management and Version Control (TFS is preferred)
    • Data Warehouse Concepts ,ETL tools and processes
