    The Healthcare practice within EIU is recruiting for a market researcher to work within a robust and diverse international team. Successful applicants will participate in key functions like product development, research quality control, UI and process improvement and standards development for ISO. Successful candidates will be developed to contribute to the team on global scale research, and will gain perspectives from diverse healthcare markets around the world.


    How you will contribute to the team


    • Apply medical device industry knowledge to make analytical judgement for comparative healthcare systems across 27 countries and service end clients in queries and generate business insights from quantitative evidence for country level reporting.
    • Independent execution of internal quality control process for quantitative and qualitative market research findings. The researcher will act as a gateway to ensure that findings generated by internal contributors are robust and reliable. Researchers will be required to conduct secondary research as part of the process. Candidates may be asked to assist with research tasks for product development occasionally.
    • Assist with the development/implementation of ISO standards and process improvement projects. Alongside participating in internal quality control for research findings, the researcher will also support the implementation of and compliance with ISO standards for processes across the team.
    • UI feedback/troubleshooting for global clients. The researcher will be the first line of contact for clients with regard to UI troubleshooting and/or feedback. Documentation of UI issues is necessary, as the researcher will be empowered to contribute to UI/UX improvement.


    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role are

    • At least 3 years prior experience in one or more of the following areas; market research, healthcare industry, business analysis, process improvement
    • Degree in healthcare related field, business administration or operations is an advantage but not a must
    • Good business acumen with an understanding of how the healthcare economy operates, must be comfortable with a highly quantitative environment
    • Strong English speaking skills and ability to effectively communicate with international clients in a professional manner
    • Knowledge of process improvement, ISO, six sigma, or other methodologies is a plus
    • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
    • Ability to follow through and complete tasks independently
    • Attention to detail, meticulous and highly organized in executing tasks
